About the position

The above vacancy exists in our Human Resources department. The role is located in our Bryanston offices, reporting into the Senior HR Business Partner & Workforce Planning Manager. Suitably qualified candidates who meet the requirements of this role are invited to apply.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for the overall execution of the company’s recruitment strategy and the related processes in line with established policies and procedures. Key areas of responsibility for this role include but are not limited to:

• Responsible for managing the full recruitment life cycle for permanent and temporary roles;
• Responsible for talent scouting and pipelining for critical and evergreen roles;
• Leading career fairs and associated engagements with universities and other learning institutions to promote the Company as an employer of choice, attracting a high calibre of talent;
• Developing and executing the annual Bursary Sponsorship project plan.
• Continuous improvement of recruitment practices and processes;
• Support with audits pertaining to the recruitment and ancillary functions;

• Responsible for the execution of the onboarding process.

• A completed National Diploma or undergraduate degree in HR or Industrial Psychology;

• A postgraduate qualification in the abovementioned field/s would be advantageous;
• 5 - 8 years of experience in the end to end recruitment process, ideally within the gas/manufacturing/engineering industry;
• 5 - 8 years of experience in recruiting for both blue collar and white collar roles;
• 3- 5 years of experience in recruiting for technically skilled roles;
• Experience in the use of the various online recruitment portals, job boards and print advertising;
• Experience in building and managing effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
