About the position

Our upmarket client in Property development in Rosebank is urgently seeking a well-presented Office Administrator/Manager with a STABLE track record and comes from a corporate environment where proper systems and procedures were followed. This individual must ideally have a strong financial acumen, must be well organised, methodical and well-spoken with high attention to detail. This individual will be responsible for the administration and management of the whole office. Financial duties will include the issuing of invoices, debts collection, credit checking and reporting.
PLEASE NOTE: THIS INDIVIDUAL MUST COME FROM A CORPORATE ENVIRONMENT

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric
  • MUST COME FROM A CORPORATE ENVIRONMENT
  • Computer skills essential. (Excel knowledge).
  • Very strong administration skills. (Organised methodical, excellent reading and writing, etc), has a good background in admin.
  • Excellent communication skills and telephonic etiquette.
  • Hight attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of Sage Accounting.
  • Financial acumen.
  • Well presented.
  • Must be able to speak English and Afrikaans.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Corporate experience or auditing accounting firm will be an advantage
Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
  • Organizing and maintaining files and documents
  • Will be responsible for answering the telephone.
  • Responsible for issuing Debtors Rental invoices, as well as collection of money.
  • Keeping office files in order, responsible for purchase of all stationery for all staff, plus other adhoc responsibilities attached to that.
  • Assist Director whenever needed.
  • Run errands on a monthly basis, such as stationery shopping, pay a few bills. Etc.
  • The company is in constriction and renting units, so sometimes there will be other administration tasks attached to the position.
