About the position

A well-established company in the construction industry is looking for a Maintenance Technician / Handyman who will be responsible for maintenance and refurbishments of rental buildings.  

Salary is [URL Removed] per hour

Responsibilities

• Ensure that rental buildings are restored as per warranty plan. 
• Refurbishment and alterations of existing units
• Attaching fittings on prepared door frames and window surrounds
• Repetition marketing to template or jigs
• Clean equipment, tools and vehicle 
• Ensure sites are cleaned
• Completion of relevant documentation
• Will be required to work on site

Requirements

• Grade 12 or equivalent 
• Min 1 year relevant experience 
• Knowledge of safe operation and basic hand and power tools
• Manufacturing experience 
• Knowledge of equipment maintenance 
• Knowledge of workplace safety, safe lifting and handling procedures 
• Valid driver's license
