About the position
ENVIRONMENT:
SERVE as the first port of call to employees for all HR related queries as the next solutions-driven HR Administrator sought by a niche provider of innovative Financial Services based in Centurion. Your core role will entail handling all employee documentation, including contracts, new employee processes, termination processes, disciplinary processes etc. The successful candidate must have Grade 12/Matric or equivalent Level 4 qualification issued by SAQA, an HR tertiary qualification (Diploma minimum), have 5 years’ work experience within Human Resources, including Pastel Payroll & strong administration and proficiency with Word, Excel & Outlook. You will require an exceptional understanding and knowledge of employment law as you will be expected to ensure the HR Department conforms to these.
DUTIES:
- New employee process.
- Employee termination process.
- Fixed-term employment agreement management.
- Employee Policies and Procedures maintenance and management.
- Employee record / file management.
- Time and Attendance management.
- Leave management.
- Disciplinary actions.
- Employee birthday and anniversary management.
- Employee benefit management (Momentum).
- UI-19 update and submissions.
- IRP5 Management
- Salary / Payroll processing.
- Annual increase management.
- Suggestion box management.
- Social occasions management.
- Reporting.
- Any other duties related to Human Resources.
- Assisting with –
- Recruitment function when required.
- Office administration function as and when required.
- Compliance function as and when required.
- Other administration duties as and when required.
REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications –
- Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent Level 4 qualification issued by SAQA.
- HR Qualification (Diploma minimum requirement).
Experience/Skills –
- At least 5 years working experience in HR field.
- Strong administration skills.
- Excellent computer skills in Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
- Pastel Payroll experience.
- Valid Driver’s Licence.
- Clear criminal and ITC record.
