Electrical Engineer Cape Town

Our IPP – Solar Renewable Energies Client is looking for a strong and driven Electrical engineer to lead their team in building and developing world class Solar Facilities. The Ideal candidate should have at least 5 years electrical Engineering experience and exceptionally skills in securing large tenders and project management.

Salary Negotiable

Minimum Requirements:
BSc/BEng Electrical or B.Tech degree, Electrical Engineering – A MUST
5 years relevant experience in electrical engineering
Solar PV experience in large scale PV plants (commercial and utility scale)
Strong attention to detail
Strong project management skills
Experience IPP’s and experience working in REIPPP projects
Computer literacy, good sound knowledge of PVsyst
Experience reticulation and network integration
Experience in Costing and tendering on Commercial and Utility scale solar plants

Responsibilities & Duties:
Designing, project costing and design consultations
Site inspections, meetings and project planning
Tendering on project, costing and land acquisitions
Assisting with project management and quality control management integration
Design reports, Simulations assessing PV plant evaluations
Attend Meetings with owner’s engineers/Client representatives regarding designs and project implementations
Assist project teams with any technical questions
Project management and helping with Scada Integrations
