a Manufacturing company in Pretoria is looking for a Configuration Control Clerk to start immediately on a 6 month contract bases

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining files appropriately as needed.
• Communicate and respond to routine enquiries from various departments.
• Complete configurations tasks within deadlines.
• Analyse and troubleshoot configuration problems in a timely manner.
• Review and implement configuration changes according to requirements.
• Have clear understanding of Revision Control and how it is applied.
• Assist in configuration audits and communicate audit recommendations to appropriate manager.
• Work closely with development, QA, and Project Management support teams to complete configuration tasks.
• Receive, prepare and maintain records from various sources and book/export into relevant directories and or programs.
• Handle classified documents and media.
• Ensure sufficient copies are made available for the facility to use. (e.g. Leave Forms, overtime sheets etc.)
• Data capturing

Requirements:

• Must read, write and speak English fluently
• Must have technical skills to be able to read/analyse part numbers, layouts & diagrams etc.
• Strong record keeping skills
• Be able to multi-task
• Strong prioritisation and organisational skills
• Must be able to work under pressure
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access).

Qualifications:

• Must have a Matric
• Administrative qualification will be a advantance
• Minimum of two years experience in Administrative position
• Manufacturing or electonic background will be an advantage
